Challenge

Optimize a top 10 automotive manufacturer's ordering strategy to move the product mix closer to the market while optimizing profitability.

Solution

Oceanus' vehicle distribution experts worked closely with the OEM's mix management team to understand their challenges and work towards a solution which included:

  • Advising on how to optimize the existing National and Regional forecasting and ordering processes
  • Defining a set of business intelligence reports needed for more efficient ordering
  • Integrating to existing legacy systems to build a reporting infrastructure

Challenge

A set of experienced entrepreneurs with a new idea needed to quickly refine the business idea and launch the business.

Solution

Oceanus assembled a senior team to work with the Pricelock founders and board of directors to complete the research for the company and put together all of the materials necessary to raise a major seed round, lock in key partners, and launch the business.

This process included a diverse set of activities including: completing the business plan, defining a consumer experience, developing a branding and design strategy, researching legal and patent issues, and executing a partnership strategy, and creating and executing the investment offering.
