In Greek mythology, Oceanus (Oh-she-an-us) is the son of the Earth and the Sky--the Titan that rules over the great river that encircles the earth and bears his name.

In this era of globalization and multi-shore projects, we are covering the globe like the river that is our namesake. Oceanus strives to be the thread that brings everything together to simply and efficiently deliver value to our customers.

Oceanus Automotive, founded in 2005, was originally named The Acuo Group. Chris Taylor founded The Acuo Group after recognizing the automotive industry's need a group of process and system experts agile enough to address the conflict of rapidly changing strategies and fragile legacy systems.

After securing anchor clients, The Acuo Group was approached for merger by the Oceanus Group early in 2006. The Oceanus Group, a premier Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) firm, wanted to expand beyond their focus in the legal vertical their operations into new industries. In the merger, The Acuo Group was renamed Oceanus Automotive and additional capital was invested to expand infrastructure and management to support additional growth.
